Project Description

In memory of Chityala Ailamma Garu, this was the fifth project executed in collaboration with the Global Hunt Foundation. The 100 Smiles team visited Zilla Parishad High School Haripirala, which has 460 students, to understand their requirements. With guidance from Dr. Sharma Garu, advisor to the Global Hunt Foundation, the project received 100% financial support. The project was inaugurated on March 11, 2018, in the presence of notable dignitaries such as Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan IAS, Rajarathnam Garu (DSP Thorrur), Sreekanth Reddy Maram Reddy Garu (PAC India Founder), Bandaru Ram Mohan Rao Garu (Loksatta Andhra & Telangana President), Dasari Mallaiah Garu (Freedom Fighter), along with local leaders, school staff, students, villagers, and 100 Smiles Advisors Panja Kalpana & Chittimalla Mahesh Garu. Key contributions provided to the school: Installation of a computer lab, Establishment of a science lab, Creation of a book library, Distribution of sports materials.
